Yup, unfo...@huama: Sorry for the late response!

Yup, unfortunately that's the plight of many of these green leaf artists -- they pretty much get neglected for ages unless they're lucky enough to get a breakthrough role that suddenly makes them popular with audiences (Koo Ming Wah for example).

And yes, I'm also one of those who is glad that this whole TV war thing happened because finally, all of the 'problems' with TVB are coming out into the limelight -- problems that have always existed, but were just never exposed.

Well, to be honest, nowadays I don't get as mad anymore over TVB's antics because I guess I've gotten used to it by now. What I get most upset about nowadays is how people so readily diss CTI and all the artists who work for them merely because they don't like Ricky Wong as a person and feel that he is too vocal. As I said before, it's not that I'm a CTI supporter because I certainly don't "support" them persay, at least not the same way I've "supported" TVB all these years -- but I do support the cause that CTI stands for, which is the concept of freedom of the arts and also injecting much needed competition in the ailing HK TV industry. This is why I get ticked off when I hear people dissing CTI out of spite or because they are die-hard TVB supporters (hey, I've been a longer TVB supporter than most of them, yet I support additional competition entering the industry!).
llwy12https://www.blogger.com/profile/02401832364832078932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5765116522593136045.post-59682099488966350822012-11-07T17:27:41.868-08:002012-11-07T17:27:41.868-08:00Ah, it's true that I remember his face and not...Ah, it's true that I remember his face and not his name. It's sad that I only recognize him as the 'bad guy'. Hopefully he gets more opportunities in CTI. And yet another green leaf to speak about TVB's bad working conditions. What if CTI didn't happen? Then they'd still be toiling away with such low pay. Ugh, TVB. Thinking about it makes me mad >.>huamanoreply@blogger.com
